Open Safari Preferences:

What does a School Counselor do?

• Coordinate a comprehensive guidance program
• Teach developmental classroom guidance lessons to all students
• Counsel with individuals and/or groups
• Help identify student needs and provide services to meet that need
• Assist students in crisis situations
• Counselors adhere to strict legal and ethical standards in the performance of these obligations.
