I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023 - 2024 school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student.  Kindergarten is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. In order to have a fun year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.

All About Me

This is my 30^th year in education. Most of my teaching years have been in Pre-K and Kindergarten with a 2 years in first grade and 5 years in P.E. I am married with two children. My husband and I have been married 31 years and we have lived in Gainesville for 24 years. When I am not at school you can find me working in our food truck Happy Dogs Corndogs.  My son is 22 and  attends  Texas Weslyan University. He plays college baseball and is majoring in Pre-med. My daughter graduated this past year from Callisburg High School and she will be attending NCTC in the fall. She plans to be a nurse.
