Dear Second Grader,

 Welcome to 2nd Grade! I’m so glad you're in my class! We’ll have a wonderful year full of learning, laughter and most of all FUN ahead of us and I’m very excited to meet you! 

Here’s a little about myself!  I’ve been married for 28 years and have two wonderful kiddos.  Kaitlyn is 24 and Dakota is 26 years old. I also am a proud grandma to two great danes.  I have a strong passion for interior decorating as well as transforming furniture back to life. I enjoy cooking and reading too.  This is my 18th year of teaching and I love teaching 2nd grade!   

Meet the Teacher is Monday, August 14th from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m for the Elementary.  Stop in anytime to say ‘hello” and explore your new classroom!  Please bring your school supplies with you Monday evening so we can start getting you all settled and organized for the year.  You may also go meet your new specials teachers, get a car rider tag, and stop by the PTO table to get some spirit wear before you leave!

I hope you’ve been making lots of memories this summer.  I can’t wait to hear all about them.  We will get to know each other lots throughout the year, but to start, here are a few of my favorite things!
