The Callisburg Cross Country teams traveled to Denison High School on Saturday and ran well in the always tough Yellowjacket Invitational.  This course is very hilly throughout the race with many turns.  There were 42 schools running from North Central Texas and Southern Oklahoma.  Callisburg runners came home with 4 medals and represented our school well. 4 runners even came home with personal records today.

 

Varsity Girls:  2nd Place Team- Mia Oliveira led the Lady Cats placing 3rd overall. Awesome Job Mia!!!  Chloe Richardson placed 13th and Mara Noble 19th.  The team also included Sydney Headrick and Avery Smith.  Amazing Job Varsity Girls!!!

 

Varsity Boys: 9th Place Team- Bentley Meals led the Wildcats placing 32nd.  The team included Tatem Barber, Caden Whittington, Parker Rhoades, and Kaden Kidd.  Great Job Varsity Boys!!!

 

Middle School Girls: (227 runners)  7th Place Team-  Presley Wimmer led the young lady cats placing 29th overall.  The team included Lily Teer, Jaina Mclellan, Maivry Montgomery, and Kourtney Bouchard.  Fantastic Job Middle School Girls!!!

 

Middle School Boys: (236 runners) 8th Place Team- Caleb Hodkinson led the way for the Wildcats placing 3rd overall. Awesome Job Caleb!!!  Leo Gilreath placed 32rd and Wyatt Wolfe 42nd. The team also included Christopher Holmen, Kaden Cummings-Gillis, Jesse Trammell, and Zane Smith.  Great Job Middle School Boys!!!

 

The next High School Cross Country Meet will be Friday, September 27th @Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie. 

The Middle School District Cross Country Meet will be at Boyd High School on Saturday, October 5th.
