This is my first year in Callisburg! I am super excited to be here. I have been in education for 30 years. Teaching/education is my passion. I feel like we are life long learners and we learn new things everyday!

Prior to coming to Callisburg, I have taught grades 1,2, 4, 5, and 6. I have been a Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Instructional Technology Coordinator. I love working with students, so I am really excited to be back in the classroom again. 

Hello! I am Gena Jackson and I am married to my best friend, Terry. We have 5 daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren!  We have 3 cats, 2 dogs and 106 chickens that keep us very busy! 

During my free time we love to travel and go on cruises! We love the beach and finding new fun places to visit.
