What does a School Counselor do?
- Coordinate a comprehensive guidance program
- Teach developmental classroom guidance lessons to all students
- Counsel with individuals and/or groups
- Help identify student needs and provide services to meet that need
- Assist students in crisis situations
- Counselors adhere to strict legal and ethical standards in the performance of these obligations.
