Callisburg High School + North Central Texas College = Dual Credit Success!
Callisburg High School is proud to partner with NCTC to provide opportunities for dual enrollment for our students starting as early as Freshman year. This partnership allows students to earn high school and college credits at the same time and jump-starts students on a path to finish college sooner than the traditional path. Dual Credit enrollment provides accelerated instruction and weighted course work for the students along with reduced costs to families.
Dual Credit students will be scheduled in up to two class periods during their day at CHS in which they will work in our computer lab under the supervision of a Dual Credit Facilitator. All college courses will be taught via the NCTC Online platform and will adhere to NCTC guidelines and policies.
Important Dates:
Fall ‘25 Classes Begin – August 25
Last Day to Drop (without a W) – September 9
Last Day to Withdraw (grade of W) – November 3
Final Exams Week – December 8-13
Final Grades Due to College – December 15
Final Grades Sent to High School – usually 1-2 weeks after grades due to college
PLANNING FOR SPRING 2026
Application for new students – due by October 1
Registration for current students – October
TSIA deadline for new students – November 7
Registration for new students – November
Classes Start – January 12

Parent Meeting February
Apply Texas Application to NCTC – by February 13
Dual Credit Handbook Signed – by March 27
Registration Forms Signed – by April 3
Tuition Paid or Payment Plan Established through NCTC – during summer, usually by end of June
